We’ll have access to important community services, live entertainment, and fun activities that will make this anniversary year truly unforgettable. South Bend Pride Festival 2024 will be on Saturday, June 15 at Potawatomi Park from 1-7pm. There will be food, vendor fair, a beer garden, and performance on the stage all day. Check out our Vendor page to learn how to table at the Festival.
What: A casual group bicycle ride to celebrate and kick off Pride Month! Followed by socializing at the Launch Party at The Lauber
Where: Meet at South Bend Bike Garage just south of Holy Cross College at the intersection of Angela Boulevard and State Road 933 (Address:1441 N Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46617). Ample free parking available.
When: Thursday, June 13th, Meet at 5:45 pm eastern.
- 5:45-6:15 pm: Socializing, opportunity to get bike cleaned & tuned up at no cost by Bike Garage volunteers
- 6:15 pm: Group departs. Estimated ride time 45 minutes to 1 hour
- 7:15 pm: Arrive back at Bike Garage
The Ride: Family friendly ride! Entirely on the trail system, separated from vehicles with just a few road crossings. 7.7 mile loop one way at a casual pace (12 miles per hour or slower). The group will ride at the pace set by the slowest member. Paved surface most of the way, flat with one significant downhill and one uphill.
What to bring: Bring your own bike, helmet, and water. Dress for the weather (sunscreen, etc.). Show your pride and wear Pride colors!
Need a bike? Need a tune up? On a tight budget? Attend the South Bend Bike Garage's regular Wednesday open hours from 5 - 8 pm. You can learn how to fix your bike, buy a bike for an affordable price, or earn a bike by volunteering! Not sure if your bike is road worthy? It’s Summer and it’s Pride Month! Outdoor Club would like you to dust off your bike and join us for a leisurely ride on the Indiana Michigan River Valley Trail.
Where: Meet at Pinhook Park in the parking closest to the road. 2801 Riverside Dr, South Bend, IN 46616
When: Saturday June 10, Meet at 10 am. Estimated end time 12:30 - 1 pm.
What: Bike ride along the Indiana Michigan River Valley Trail to Niles, Michigan. Coffee and light lunch/snacks at Gabrizio's Italian cafe downtown.
The Ride: 9 miles one way or about an hour at a casual pace. The group will ride at the pace set by the slowest member. Paved surface most of the way, very flat with a couple hills near Niles.
What to bring: Bring your own bike, helmet, and water. Dress for the weather (sunscreen!). Bring cash or credit for the cafe. Show your pride and wear Pride colors!
Michigan friends - You are welcome to meet us outside Gabrizio's around 11:20 am to socialize and then join us on part or all of the ride back to South Bend.

If you don't have a bike, you can borrow or rent one from a place like Green Earth Bike Rental.
Worried your bike isn't road worthy? Arrive Saturday early at 9:30 am and the South Bend Bike Garage will do a free tune up/minor repair! They are also serving as sag wagon in case of any bike malfunctions you won't be stranded.
If you need a major repair, the Bike Garage has open hours Wednesday evening at their location at Angela and 933. They will teach you how to fix your bike, or you can volunteer to earn a bike, or buy one for a very reasonable price.
Everyone’s favorite Pride event is back! The LGBTQ Center Drag Show is a South Bend Pride staple and this year is no different.
